Ok, I know I am their Mom but I think they look absolutely beautiful! This picture was taken before we left for Church today. Since the Church program was today, the older girls sat in church with us and then the idea was to just walk down front at their time to perform. In my last post, I mentioned that they did not participate. Katy was in a classroom and led on stage. After her performance I ran and got Katy and brought her to church with the rest of us since they were just coloring to pass time. As I sat in church with these precious children sitting around me, I could help but think again about how blessed I am. Of course they were talking about the birth of Jesus and I thought about the birth of these precious four girls. We do not know the circumstance to their lives before Larry and I. We do not know if their Chinese parents could not afford them, were poor in health, had to given them up for the need of a boy or there is even talk now about children stealing and selling to orphanages. Katy's parents more than likely were frightened by her spina bifida. The one thing that we do know is that before these precious children were conceived, God knew the plan for their lives. He knows each hair on our head and knows the plans for our lives. When I was in high school, I often said to my Dad and Mom, "I will make a difference in the world. I do not know how now, but I will!" Little did I know that I would become the mother of four soon to be five precious children from China. But, I promise you, God knew the plan! What an awesome God we have! He reigns with his power and grace!
