The girls were so excited for today as we always decorate for Christmas the day after Thanksgiving. The first picture I am going to share is with my girl's and my girlfriend's daughter. They were all ganging up on me. The rest of the pictures are our Christmas decorating. When Elmo goes up, it is officially the Christmas season. Now that the girls are getting older and are very helpful, it is fun to decorate. They each have GREAT ideas and LOVE to help!

What A Wonderful Thanksgiving!!!
We had the BEST Thanksgiving!!! My dear friend, Mary and her daughter Elizabeth, arrived at 11:30 AM. Our tradition is to do lunch together before the other guests arrive for the big Turkey Dinner. At 1:10, Mary and I went and picked up our International Student, Qina. Then around 2:30, our guests Ann, Gustavo and their children arrived. The house was buzzing with laughter, kids playing and just fun!!! We did a cheese ball and crackers with some snack cookies around 3:00. Then at 4:30 the big dinner came out. Turkey, mashed potatoes, yams, green been casserole, stuffing, rolls, cranberries (both whole and jellied), then pumpkin and apple pie with cool whip! It was all delicious!! We had cinnamon hazelnut coffee to drink, diet coke regular coke, water and juice for the kids. The eating was GREAT!!! We then visited again after and just enjoyed the day! I really could not have wished for a better day. Mary and Elizabeth always spend the night and the fun continues today, Friday!

Holiday Program
This evening Mya, Maylin and Ivy had their "holiday" program. It is more just a school program. It is not specifically for Christmas but being a Christian School, it has a good message. Maylin and Ivy's program was "To See A Miracle" and Mya's was "Daniel, Darius & DeLion." Both Maylin and Mya kept from us that they were singing duets so boy were we surprised. Maylin and Ivy got to wear holiday dresses but Mya had to be in all black. The programs were great and here are pictures to prove it!

Christ's Children
Suffer the children
To come unto Christ;
To win only grown-ups
Will never suffice.
God loves the children
From every land;
To save each little one
Is part of His plan.
So open your hearts
And make room too,
For children who are
Quite different from you.
Someday God may call you
To go far away,
And help foreign children
Learn His perfect way.

This came home from Maylin's class. I thought it was very nice and wanted to share.

I Am Cool!
Katy came down with a cold on Tuesday. I picked her up from daycare yesterday and she could not even talk because she was coughing so much. She does have asthma and takes a puff each morning and night of Flovent. When we got home I decided it was time to bring in her rescue, Albuterol. She doesn't like the mist in her eyes so I put my sunglasses on her. She thought that was funny. After her treatment her coughing went down to just a 1/3 of what it was. Wow, that stuff is a miracle drug!!
I Prayed Mommy!
I picked the girls up Thursday from school and I was frustrated. Our agency said that our dossier was not yet logged in at the CCAA. I just could not figure out what could take so long to do that. So, when I picked the girls up, Mommy was quieter and seemed deep in thought. The girls said, "Mommy, did you have a good day at work?" I said, "My day was not as good as I hoped for" and then I explained that China had not logged in our dossier.
Yesterday I got the e-mail from our agency that infact we were logged in on 11/17!! I did the happy dance. I picked the girls up from school and announced that I had good news! I told the girls that China has logged in our dossier for Aneyah and we are now a waiting family. Maylin said, "Mommy, when you told us yesterday that our paperwork was not logged in I prayed to Jesus that it would get logged in!" What a sweet angel! Tear filled my eyes as my dream as a parent is that my child would have that wonderful relationship with Jesus!!!
