Saturday we began with breakfast and then headed over to the Smoky Mountain Palace. The morning was filled all different activities for the kids. They could go from table to table and area to area doing different things. For lunch we had Chinese Buffet prepared by the Cirque de Chine performers chef from Shanghai. It was delicious! At 2:00 PM, the Cirque de Chine acrobat show began. I got a couple of pictures taken only to be told "no pictures were allowed" so I turned off my camera. The show was unbelievable!!! Our jaws were dropped through most of the two hour show. It was unbelievable what the acrobats could do. After the show a group photo was taken with the kids and the performers. Then the kids could talk to the performers and have their pictures taken with them. They seemed to have so much love for the children. It was really a touching time! As the performance was was going on, I looked around the Palace at all the children from China with their families and just became overwhelmed with joy! It was beautiful! After the performance we did dinner at Shoney's and then went back to our hotel to let the kids swim!
Sunday AM, we pulled out again around 8:30 AM to head back home! We pulled back in the driveway at 6:10 PM tired but with smiles on our faces! It was a GREAT weekend!
