At 7:00 we went to a Harvest Party! This party was very special because we would meet our International Student from China. We are involved in a program through our local college which is an International Hospitality Program. Last Sunday afternoon I went to an orientation and selected our student. One student stuck out to me because of what she put in her comment section. She said, " a little shy girl and is looking for a warm family." I knew that was our student because we are all about family. So, at this Harvest Party we met our student. We carved pumpkins, ate pizza and wonderful fall desserts. Notice our pumpkin which was a bat and we named it Spooky! We had such a nice time and look so forward to our friendship with our student!
