Happy 10th Birthday Mya!

Wow, Where has the time gone??? Our baby turns 10 today. We had a great day! We made her cake in the morning. After that we had a bit of a scare but all turned out well. Ivy had an allergic reaction to something from lunch (maybe orange pepper?) and one of her eyes swelled shut and the other one was almost shut. I got some benadryl in her and all turned out fine. While we were waiting to see if the benadryl was going to do the trick, Mya frosted her cake. While frosting Uncle Blake called so I have a picture of her decorating her cake and talking on the phone. Once Ivy began looking human again, we went to the YMCA and went swimming. We then picked out a night birthday video and went home. Mya requested roasted chicken, green bean casserole and baked potatoes with sour cream and butter for dinner. While we were at the YMC, I had the chicken and potatoes baking. Dessert of birthday cake was delicious. Then of course came her favorite part which is opening the gifts. She had a BLAST. We all put on our flannel pj's on and watched a family video with popcorn.
On a side note, we went to the homecoming and basketball game last night at the school. Yeah, we won our homecoming game! It was really a good game!
