Today is my last day of work until Jan. 3rd. I love my job but I look so forward to down time and time with my girls!!!
Now for my opinion! Please no nasty responses:) We watched Kung Fu Panda 2 on Saturday night and I loved every minute of it right down to the last scene where his biological father (I think it is the father) is saying, "My son is alive!" I do believe somewhere in China are six China Mommy's, as we call them, and maybe six China Daddy's wishing they could say that they knew whether or not their child is alive. With that said, I am a little concerned if that is going to lead to another sequel and where they are going to go with that. Adoption, biological parents and adoptive parents is a very sensitive subject and with Hollywood telling it, that makes me a little nervous!
I think they portrayed Po's "left to be found" well. They showed his parent's loved him but could not keep him which is often the truth in many cases. He showed respect for his adoptive father and his biological parent's yet as I am sure my daughter's do, pondering his adoption.
I really liked the movie and so did the girls. We talked about it before it began and after to make sure there were no unanswered questions. In my opinion, I would recommend the movie!
