I have always heard this part of this saying, "It is what it is!" But I recently heard this added. "It is what it is but what you make of it is what it will be!" Love it!!! That puts me and God in charge of everything. I can chose to see the negative in a situation or event or what have you or...I can choose to make it a positve and let it be life learning!!!
