Strange Weather Day

Today through mid-afternoon was just a normal day.  Then, on my way home from work, the sun was shining and it was raining.  As I pulled in the garage, I heard the first clap of thunder and it has been downhill since then.  It began pouring and then little bits of hail.  I tried to capture it in pictures, which I will share with you.  Look closely at the deck to see the little pieces of hail.

We went from hail to a tornado warning, then thunderstorm warning, then tornado warning again and we are now back under a thunderstorm warning.  We have had tornadoes touch down in surrounding cities but none right here.  My dearest friend had the home behind her's flattened by one of the tornadoes this evening and flying debris broke out her front window.  It has been a very erie evening to say the least!

Y'all must be about three hours behind us! We had that happen around 11 AM yesterday morning - hail - the whole 9 yards - and then around 8 it seemed to be done for the day! No tornados thankyouverymuch - but we had them a week or two ago!

hugs - aus and co.
