Our local community education offered a trip to Chicago to the American Girl Store and anything else you wanted to do while in Chicago!
Ivy and I boarded the bus at 6:30 A.M at the local high school. (This picture was taken later so it was daylight then)

For the ride to Chicago we got a lite breakfast and we watched "Up" and
"Madagascar 3." On the ride home we got a lite dinner and we watched "The Lorax" and "Mirror, Mirror!!"
First stop, American Girl Store
Ivy is not interested in the Ivy American Girl Doll but I had to take a picture of her with it. Yesterday she purchased the doll named Kit.
We ate lunch at the Cheese Cake Factory
You cannot leave the Cheesecake Factory without a piece of cheesecake. We had a piece of Snickers.
The rest of our trip was shop, shop, shop. We brought everyone something home!
We were back at the high school at exactly 10:00 PM! We had such a wonderful time and I would certainly do this trip again!!!
