One of My Favorite Days.....Holiday Baking

Today my dear friend and her daughter's came over and we did our holiday baking as we always do.  We have Christmas music playing and we have so much fun baking.  The day really has a magical feel and everything you expect leading up to the holidays!



 
Salted Nut Roll Bars








 
These were the favorite cookies my Grandma use to make.  I made them today in honor of my Grandma, who I miss so much!

 
Milk Chocolate Chewy Bars
 
We also made a chocolate chip cookie with Christmas colored M&M's and gingerbread cookies!

Glad y'all had a good time - we don't do our baking this early - that comes in a couple weeks and will include a couple batches of home made caramel - a 3-4 hour ordeal of stirring (don't stop for a second or it will burn and "go toffee" on you! ;)
